We grow rice on 3.8 hectares of farmland we operate in Kawagoe, Saitama, and sell it through our rice brand Komeyoshi. We also supply rice to business customers and host farm visits for companies and municipalities.
Rice production
We grow rice on 3.8 hectares (about 9.4 acres) of farmland cultivated and managed by SoA in Kawagoe, Saitama. We select varieties in the field to protect quality as the climate changes.

- Varieties: Sai-no-Kizuna (a variety bred by Saitama Prefecture) and Koshihikari
- Under consideration for future seasons: Niji-no-Kirameki and Emi-hokoro
- Pesticide residue testing: our 2026 Sai-no-Kizuna (milled rice) has been tested by an outside laboratory
Sales and rice for businesses
Retail sales are handled through the online shop of our rice brand Komeyoshi (shipping within Japan, and to Taiwan, most of Europe, Canada and Chile). For restaurants, retailers and food companies, please contact us through the inquiry form.

We built and use two in-house apps: Tanbo-cho for managing work in the rice fields, and the Komeyoshi admin app for managing order shipments and packing supplies.
