What is SoA Co., Ltd.?
SoA Co., Ltd. is a startup based in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan, that begins with agriculture. Established on 5 March 2026, it grows rice on 3.8 hectares of farmland it operates in Kawagoe, runs a trading business that supplies agricultural, marine and livestock products and food to business customers, and provides website production, app development and AI adoption support.
Who runs the company?
Soichi Saito is Representative Director and CEO. He previously worked at East Japan Railway Company and established SoA Co., Ltd. in March 2026.
Where is the company, and can we visit?
We are located in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan. We do not publish our street address or the exact location of our fields. If you would like to visit, please contact us through the inquiry form.
How much farmland do you operate?
We operate 3.8 hectares (about 9.4 acres) in Kawagoe, Saitama. This is farmland that SoA cultivates and manages.
Rice sales and B2B supply
Which rice varieties do you grow?
Sai-no-Kizuna, a variety bred by Saitama Prefecture, and Koshihikari. We are considering Niji-no-Kirameki and Emi-hokoro for future seasons.
Can you supply rice to restaurants and food companies?
Yes. Restaurants, retailers and food companies can select “B2B trade in agricultural, marine and livestock products and food” on our inquiry form. We discuss volume and price individually.
Can individuals buy your rice?
Retail sales go through the online shop of our rice brand Komeyoshi (in Japanese). At present we ship within Japan only.
Farm visits and experiences
Can I join a farm experience or rice-planting event?
We accept farm visits from companies and municipalities. Farm experience programs for the general public are in development. Please use the inquiry form to arrange a visit.
Can we run a field trial with you?
We welcome inquiries about on-site trials and joint development from agricultural machinery makers and IT companies. Please select “Business partnership” on the inquiry form.
Trading business and overseas trade
What does your trading business handle?
We handle rice and a full range of agricultural, marine and livestock products and food. Alongside supply to restaurants, retailers and food companies, we are working to connect with overseas buyers.
Can we talk to you about overseas trade?
Yes. We are working toward overseas trade through GFP and JETRO programs and hands-on export support from Saitama Prefecture. Please select “Overseas trade” on the inquiry form.
Websites, apps and AI
Can you build a website or an app for us?
Yes. We provide website production, app and system development, and AI adoption support, based on the tools we actually run on the farm and online shop we operate.
Can we see your client work?
You can see our own work: the Komeyoshi online shop, this website, our farm management app, and our in-house use of AI.
